THE WEATHER.
The Rev D. C. Bates wires today as follows ; Westerly strong winds to gale at times, and veering by west to south after about 16 to 24 hours ; expect dull weather, with ranch mist and fog in parts; rain probable. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising after about 16 hours, then the weather will probably become colder. Tides and sea increasing to sea heavy; tides good.
