royal pictures. “What a Woman Will Do,” is the title of the star picture at the Royal to-night. It is a drama of special merit and will be supported by a good and varied programme. The bill-of-fare for Saturday night includes two star pictures, ‘The House of Darkness,” a Lubin drama of over 2,000tt., and “An Unseen Terror/’ by the wellknown Kalem Company, which is also over 2,000 ft. in length. The Topical Budget will present interesting current events and there will also be shown an Australian scenic, depicting the pretty “Hawkesbury River.” In addition to the ordinary programme the second instalment of “Lucille Love,” will also be screened. PETER DAWSON. In the Towb Hall on Monday evening next, Mr Peter Dawson, I the world-famous baritone, will give a grand concert asifisled by his brilliant English concert party. Everyone should take the great opportunity of hearing this gifted singer in the flesh. Pelcr Dawson is known all over the world through the medium of his gramophone records. His name is now a household word. He has fought his wav up the ladder of fame in London, and be is proud of it. The crisp staccato and wonderful breath control are points that give real distinction to Mr Dawson’s renderings, possessing as he does a charming personality, a quick and intelligent perception and a beautiful rich and resonant voice of extraordinary range.
