RIFLE SHOOTING.
Tlis local Defence Rifle Club held another very successful shooting match oa Saturday, eighteen taking part. As in the previous match the competitors were divided into two classes, the prizes for the events being donated by Mr G. IDrber / {'first), and Mr L. Freeman (second) for A class, and by Mr McColl (first), and Mr J. Ross (second) lor B class- In addition to these prizes there was also a sweepstake. Afternoon tea was provided by Mr C. F. Johnstson. The following are the scores (seven shots each at coo, 500 and 600 yds.) A Class.
