MARRIAGE.

BODDINGTON—MUNRO. The Foxton Presbyterian Church was the scene of a quiet but pretty wedding on Thursday, December 24th, when Miss Flora H. Munro, youngest daughter of Mrs Munro, now of Foxton, and the late Mr Roderick Munro, Lees Line, Feilding, was united in holy matrimony by the Rev J. M. Thomson M.A., to Mr Robert Boddington, eldest son of Mr F. N. Boddington, Rockdale, Sydney. The bride looked charming in a gown of ivory silk Japanese crepe with trimmings of soft silk lace and chiffon roses, she also wore the orthodox wreath and veil over a mob cap and carried a lovely shower bouquet of white roses and sweet peas and fern. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss R. Munro as bridesmaid, who wore a dress of white embroidered voile. The bride was given away by her elder brother, Mr C. Munro, of Wanganui. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Roderick Munro, of Foxton as best man. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the residence of the bride's mother, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of and the usual toasts duly honoured. Later the bride and bridegroom left by motor for Palmerston, the bride travelling in a navy blue tailormade costume with stylish hat to match. The happy couple were the recipients of many presents both useful and costly.
