SENIOR CADETS.

SHOOTING RESULTS OF No. 6 AREA GROUP.

CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDED DISTRICT CADET.

The result of the shooting competitions between the various senior cadet companies in the No. 6 Area group which embraces a very wide district, discloses the fact that the local boys still have “their eye in.” In the previous competitions the Godley Cup was annexed by the local company, and now private L. Heayns, of Rangiotu, has won the group championship medal, also the field* firing competition. This is a leather in the cap of the 49th company, and Lieut. Boyes, O.C. is very proud of the fine performance put up by the lads under his charge.
