ENTERTAINMENTS.
ROYAL PICTURES. At the Royal to-night, and on Saturday afternoon, a good programme will be screened, which is specially noteworthy because it contains three great dramatic films, “Pleasure and Pain.” “Woman’s Burden,” and “A Groundless Suspicion.” On Saturday night, the programme submitted will be headed by an A.K. star drama, telling a grand and vivid story of life in the West of America. The story is based on the remarkable resemblance of two men, and the impersonation of one by the other, the outcome of which is told in a strong and lucid manner. The supporting items are a good lot, and include the popular Topical Budget, a delightful scenic, “Manly, Sydney,” a comical comedy by the popular Edison Company, “Tango iu Tuckerville,” and two creditable dramas, “The Country Girl,” and “A Game of Cards,” by the Lubin and Vitagraph Companies respectively.
