HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT,
The High Commissioner cabled yesterday as follows The hemp market is overstocked and depressed. There are. 100,000 bales of manila, and 1,500 tons of New Zealand hemp on hand. Quotations: New Zealand, good-fair £22 10s; fair, £2l ; fair current manila, £24.
