ENTERTAINMENTS.
ROYAL PICTURES. A well varied programme will be screened ot The Royal to-uight, the films including dramas, comics, scenic and educational subjects. The star film, ‘‘A Friend and His Friends,” is said to be thrilling, interesting, exciting and vigorous, among the scenes being a great car smash and an exciting time in a balloon. "His Only Chance” is another splendid drama, by the Selig Company. The comic subjects include one by the favourite Keystone Company, "Professor Bean’s Removal,” which has been received with great merriment wherever shown. The programme will be repeated at the matinee on Saturday afternoon. The star film for Saturday night’s entertainment, "A Cabaret Dancer,” shows the brilliant dancer. Miss Alice Joyce, in her first appearance.
