THE FOXTON WHARF.

THE QUESTION OF PRICE. CABINET AGREES TO ARBITRATION. It will be remembered that when the last deputation waited on the Prime Minister and Ministers for Railways and Marine in connection with the proposed purchase of the Foxton wharf by the Harbour Board, it was suggested that the question of price should be decided by arbitration. The deputation agreed to the suggestion, and the matter was to be subsequently brought before a meeting of Cabinet for approval or otherwise. The Foxton Harbour Board has now received advice from Mr J. Robertson, M.P., to the effect that Cabinet has agreed to arbitration. The order of reference has not yet been decided, but will be submitted later.
