ROYAL PICTURES

The programme submitted last night, including the two interesting star dramas, “The Picket Guard” and “The Child Mother,” will be repeated to-night, “The Filly,” the star film of to-morrow night’s programme, is a magnificent sporting special, a “rale auld” Irish racing drama. It is a grand story of sport and love in Erin, the land of beautiful women and clever horses. It will be supported by the following : “Gaumont Graphic,” the world’s news in motion pictures ; “Innocent,” an effective and impressive drama t “Marine Shellfish,” a splendid nature study ; “The Two Slaves,” a strong story of human lives in bondage ; “An Unintentional Hero” comic; “Beauty Spots in Auckland,” a film which may cause you to realise the wonderful picturesqueness of our own land ; and “The Flaming Heart,” comedy. Altogether a very fine programme indeed, which should meet with general approval. MUNICIPAL PICTURES. “The Naval Spy,” which is the star drama to be screened at the Municipal Pictures to - morrow night is a play of exciting events of the deepest interest. The other items are : “Pathe’s Gazette,” topical; “The Delayed Special,” drama ; “A Sandstone Quarry,” industrial ; “His Comrade’s Wife,” drama ; “Buuuy’s Mistake,” comic ; “The Lakes of Pyrenees,” scenic; “A Rural Demon,” comic.
