SUNDAY TENNIS.
Sunday play at the local tennis club’s court was discussed at the annual meeting on Thursday night. The president stated that certain members had been using the courts on Sunday, in defiance of the rules, which prohibited same. The secretary explained that the committee had warned the offenders. It was unanimously decided to amend the rule by providing that players so offending shall be struck off the membership roll.
