METHODIST CHURCH.
The Anniversary Services in connection with the Methodist Church, Foxton, were held on Sunday last. The services were conducted by the Rev W. G. Maslin, who preached appropriate sermons to large congregations. The singing was hearty and also fitting to the occasion. The anniversary festivities will be continued this evening in the Masonic Hall. A splendid programme, consisting of musical Items, solos, recitations, competition, etc., has been arranged. The hail is to be decked with Union Jacks, and towards the end of the social refreshments will be handed round by the ladies. All who attend the anniversary social iu the Masonic Hall to-night will have a treat.
