WAR NEWS.
The Germans have entered Brussels, the Belgians abandoning the city as the only method of saving the historic monuments from German savagery. The French have occupied both sides of the River Meuse from Godinne to the French frontier - A. large German force has crossed the Meuse between Liege and Namur. Ths Belgian Army has been forced to fall back. The Allies have defeated the Germans with heavy losses at Tirlemont. ' The Russians appear to be steadily advancing and fresh successes are recorded, also a reverse to a party of Cossacks, A message from Washington conveys the suggestion that Germany is willing to cede Kiao chau back to China. The French advance in AlsaceLorraine continues. They have occupied Morhange.
