ENTERTAINMENTS.

ROYAL PICTURES

MUNICIPAL PICTURES

The name of Asta Nielsen is without doubt the most popular amongst picture patrons, so tomorrow night’s star film, “Asta Nielsen, .Suffragette,” should attract a good house. The other items which help to make up a splendid programme are : “Life in Hong Kong” (.scenic), “Teaching his wife a lesson” (comic), “Pathe Gazette” (topical), “Hero and his blind master” (drama), “The lawyer, dog, and the baby” (comic).

The programme shown at the Royal last night, met with general approval and will be repeated to-night. The star film ‘ ‘ The final Judgement,” is the class of story that appeals to all. To morrow night the stupendous, startling motion picture novelty ‘ ‘ How to dance _ the Tango ” will be shown. This has been specially got up on an elaborate scale for this wonderful reproduction at the New York Theatre Roof Garden, and introduces for the first time in New Zealand the two greatest Tango dancers the world knows, Wallace McCutcheon and Joan Sawyer. Other films are Gaumont Graphic and Wellington Tango Tea (topical), Salvation Sal and Husband’s Awakening (dramas), Washington (scenic), The Late Mr Jones and Aeroplane Love Affair (comic), and a really wonderful educational film showing the “ Life of a Wasp.”
