ENTERTAINMENTS.

ROYAL PICTURES

MUNICIPAL PICTURES.

“Leah Kleschna,” the star film for to-morrow night is a world famous play with a great moral. It is a remarkable star dramatic production of the life story of a woman of striking personality, dealing with crime, repentance and love. The other items are ; “A Sketch of Venice.” scenic; “Caught Courting.” comedy drama; “Pathe Gazette,” topical ; “ Around Oamaru,” scenic ; “ Mabel’s Strange Predicament,” comic.

At the Royal tonight, the sensational .drama, “A Child of the Sea,” will be repeated. To-morrow night a benefit entertainment will be wided for the Ladies’ Hockey Association, for which a good programme has been obtained. The star drama, “The Test,” is a Vitagraph masterpiece. It is an intensely human play of great power, centralising particularly a strong man, his wife, and a false friend. Tne picture was taken partly in England and partly in South Africa, Another good drama is, “Her Boy,” a fascinating heart story of the Wild West. A film that should create great interest is that showing “Strange Inhabitants of the Sea,” in which piscatorial life is splendidly reproduced. Altogether it is a good programme for a good cause, and is deserving of a bumper house.
