G. H. Stiles inserts in his replace advertisement to-day a list of lines which are a few of the many bargains now offering at his Stocktaking Sale. This sale closes on Thursday next, July 16th. In J. M. Burr’s space to-day will be found .a few prices which may be considered as typical of the large list of bargains being offered at his Great Annual Stocktaking Sale. An early call at the Big Bargain Stores will repay the thrifty. Messrs Buglass and Munro notify that they have taken oyer the Foxton-Shannon Royal Mail motor service, lately conducted by Mr D. Williams. No alteration will be made in the fares (single 3s. return 55.;, and they hope, by maintaining a regular and comfortable service, to merit a continuance of the support accorded their predecessor. A fine herd of dairy cows will be submitted under the hammer at Ohau on Wednesday next. All the cows are guaranteed as to soundness, and have all been hand milked The sale will be conducted by Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., on behalf of Messrs Read Bros., whose lease has expired.
