The Rev. D. C. Bates wires today as follows ; Northerly moderate to strong wind prevailing and freshening, for storm appears to be approaching from the west ; expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts; rain following ; barometer little movement, but falling shortly. Ssa moderate, tides good.
