George Devereaux, a single man, who was knocked down by a motor containing a party of racegoers, driven by Ernest Challis near Riverton hospital, on Easter Monday, died last night. At the inquest a verdict was returned that deceased was apparently intoxicated and lurched into the car. The driver, Challis, was exonerated from all blame.
