THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows: — The hemp market is quiet but steady ; N.Z. good fair £25 15s, fair £ 23. Stock at the end of March, 12,000; stock of tow, 558 tons, Manila: nominal quotations for all positions; fair current £26 ; output, 21,000 bales.
