THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows: The hemp market is somewhat steadier with more demand. New Zealand good fair, 5s ; fair, £22 10s; April-June shipments, good fair, £23 15s ; fair, £22 10s ; stock at end of February, 1,652 tons. Manila : Fair current, 10s all positions; output, 20,000 bales. Sisal market is quiet, £26 1 os.
