Arrangements in connection with the carnival to be held in Victoria Park on Wednesday next are well in hand, and the function promises to be a pronounced success. The object of the carnival is to raise funds, the club having been put to a very great expense in running both a Wednesday and a Saturday team in the competitions, a large quantity of gear being required, and it is hoped the public will do their share towards the club in a sound financial position by putting in an appearance on Wednesday.
