BOWLING.
Yesterday a rink from the local Club visited Terrace End and attempted to wrest the Withers’ Feathers from the present holders, but were not successful, the home team winning by 31 to 25. Foxtou started off well, laying seven on the first head and at the afternoon tea adjournment were leading by 21 to 11. After the adjourment, however, the Terrace End players showed improved form and were able to overhaul and beat their opponents. The following are the teams and scores :
