ENTERTAINMENTS.
MUNICIPAL PICTURES
The programme for to-night is a very attractive one and as it has already been described there is no need for repetition, but we can safely say that patrons will find it quite up to the usual high standard. We would take this opportunity of reminding patrons that owing to the school picnic on Wednesday, the manager has arranged for Wednesday’s programme of “Captain Scott’s Last Expedition,” to be shown on Tuesday night instead. Seeing that this is such a very special educational and. now historic picture there should be a record attendance.
THE GREAT McEWEN,
The attendance at The Royal on Thursday evening when “The Great McEwen” gave his entertainment, was only a small one. The first part of the programme was occupied with pictures and the Scotch entertainer filled the second half with exhibitions of magic, sleight of hand and hypnotism. The performance was clever, clean and entertaining. The company appear again to-night.
