£25,800,000 OFFERED. A REMARKABLE SUCCESS. London, January 30. The New Zealand 4 per cent, loan for £4,500,000 issued at £ico 10s, and having a currency ot ten years, with conversion rights, has been subscribed five-fold. Altogether £25,800,000 were subscribed, and the lists closed within ninety minutes after the opening of the bank postals. Applications from other parts of the United Kingdom, therefore, did not receive consideration. The script is quoted at £1 premium (£lOl 10s). The evening papers comment on the remarkable success of the loan, considering its size.
