MOUTOA DRAINAGE BOARD.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Moutoa Drainage Board was held on Thursday evening. Present : Mr Gower (chairman), Messrs W. E. Barber and .0. K. Robinson. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs Easton and Hammond. The secretary reported the amount to credit at Bank of New Zealand at £93 15s id. Accounts amounting to £37 03 6d were passed for payment. The Overseer reported having cleaned the outlets of main and diagonal drains aud that not sufficient water was going through the diagonal to keep- the outlet free j also that he was getting well on with trimming the ’sides of the main drain. It was resolved to instruct the overseer to clean up the mile drain and report fully at next meeting as to drains generally aud those requiring first attention. The meeting then terminated,
