BOWLING.
There was a fairly good attendance of both bowlers and croquet players on the greens yesterday afternoon, but play was inlerlered with at about half-past four on account of the shower of rain. Afternoon lea was provided by Mrs Nye. In the colls competition, McColl 35 beat Meyer 12, _ and Wilchell 21 beat Harvey 12 in the champion singles. The following are the draws for the second round of the colts competition and handicap singles ; Colts. —Ball plays Bryant and Mandl plays G. Whibley, McColl a bve.
Handicap “ingles.—Woods fscr) plays Witched (scr), Harvey (scr) plays Petrie (scr), Hopper (3) plays Rimmer (3 behind scr), and Freeman (6) plays Bryant (6).
