The Manawatu County Council offices will be closed from the 24th iust. to the sth January, for the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Mr Boyes notifies that his dental surgery will be closed from 24th inst., to January and, for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Mr T. N. Brodrick, commissioner of crown lands, gives notice of the lease of Education Reserves. For further particulars see advertisement on page 3 of this issue. The commanding officer of the New Zealand forces notifies elsewhere in this issue that applications for the New Zealand war medal will close at headquarters, N.Z. Military Forces, Wellington, on March 31st, 1914, after which date no further claims will be considered.
