FOXTON TECHNICAL SCHOOL.

FIRST AID EXAMINATION

An examination in First Aid under the auspices of the Sr. John Ambulance Association, was held on Monday at the school. The successful candidates were Messrs W. Teviotdale, H. Gabiies, E. McEweu, S. Parlaue and W. Speirs. The examination was kindly conducted by Dr Kerr-Hislop, who reports as follows“ The answers to the written questions showed that the candidates had an intelligent appreciation of the subject; the oral questions were well answered by all, and exceptionally well by some of the candidates, and the practical work was very well done by all the candidates.”

That all the candidates passed reflects great credit upon Dr Mandl, who instructed the class.
