WATERSIDE WORKERS’ UNION.

We have received the following report from the secretary of the local Waterside Workers’ Union ;

“The third annual meeting was held on Monday night, when the year's operations .were minutely reviewed and satisfactory progress was reported both morally and financially. A definite plan of action was drawn up to come into operation at termination of present lock out. The following were elected for the ensuing year, £9x4 ; President, Mr W. Walker (second year) ; vice-president, Mr W. Neville ; secretary, Mr E. G. Martin (third years in succession) ; treasurer, Mr E. G. Martin (second year); committee, Messrs G, Tozer, C. Matson, J. Andrews, J. Lyons ; trustees, J. Gore and A. Huff; auditors, Messrs G. Tozer and W. Neville.”
