DRUIDISM.

The half-yearly meetiug of the local Druids’ Lodge was held last night, when A. D. Bro. Barber presided over a good attendance of members. A number of visiting brethren were present from Horowheuua Lodge. One new member was initiated. The officers for the ensuing six months were elected. The installation of officers was performed by P.G.P. Bro. Gardener and P.D.P. Bro. Mclntyre, who installed the following brethren into their respective positions: —J.P.A., Bro. G. 0. Barber; A.D., Bro. H. McKegney-; V.A.,.8r0. A. Smith ; 1.G., Bro. S. J. Pearce; 0.G., Bro. T. G. Simpson; A.D.8., Bros. T. W. Mitchell and G. A. Watt; V.A.8.. Bros. F. Wallis and R. Burnett. Bro. G. O. Barber was elected auditor, and Bro. F. Harris minute secretary.

-At the conclusion, the visiting brethren were entertained at supper in Bro. Perreau’s rooms.
