CONSTABLE DROWNED.
Auciceand, December 12
Constable Carson, of the Auckland police, was drowned while bathing with two comrades off the Marine Parade, at Devonport, this afternoon. Deceased was a single man, with only two years’ service, and had not long been stationed in Auckland.
