ENTERTAINMENTS.
MUNICIPAL PICTURES. DOUBLE PROGRAMMES, A novel departure has been taken by the manager of the above Pictures in securing two specially selected programmes for Saturday next. The Matinee programme from the N.Z. Picture Supplies, Ltd,, contains a ravishingly beautiful Pathecolour star feature of 2500 feet, “Till Death Do Us Part.” The others are : “The Eclair Journal,” topical ; “Alkali Ike’s Homecoming,” comic; “Visit to Mt. Tacoma,” scenic; “While Baby Slept,” drama; “Bunny’s Birthday Surprises,” comic ; “The Duel,” comic i “Servian Gipsy’s Marriage,” scenic; .“Simple Simon’s Bear Dance,” comic. F'or the evening a most entrancing and more than usually attractive programme has been obtained from the Clement Mason Film Co. The star film of 2200 feet is a most beautifully coloured Nordisk, “The Madcap Countess” or “The Land of Promise.” The other part of the programme is comprised of the following : “The Bullet Clue,” drama ; “Love and Sport,” comic ; “The Ferrets,” drama; “Pimple, Detective,” comic; ‘The Sicilian Coast,” scenic; “The Stampede,” Western drama ; “A Trip over the Rocky Mountains,” topical; “Funnicus’ Idea,” comic; “The F'isher Monoplane,” topical; “Bloomer’s Bank Note,” comic. As some of the items of the evening programme ate by the very best of makers, and in some instances being over 1000 feet long, patrons are promised a treat surpassing any other that has been provided locally for some considerable time.
