GILLESPIE ARRESTED.

REMANDED TO FEIEDING. Auckland, Yesterday. Oliver Noel Giliespie, solicitor, aged thirty years, was charged at the Police Court, that at Feilding, on June ist, he received from the trustees of the estate of James Vile on terms requiring him to account for the same, and that he failed to account for the money. Accused was a passenger on the Maheno, and was arrested yesterday on the ship’s arrival at Auckland. He was one of the passengers who worked as a volunteer stoker on that ship. The chief detective asked that accused be remanded to appear at Feilding on Wednesday next. The remand was granted, no bail being asked for.
