THE NORWOODS.
Oil : Monday next, December Bth, Professor Norwood, Ihe eminent hypnotist and entertainer, will inaugurate a two nights’ season at the Town Hall, Foxton. Since his last appearance in New Zealand eighteen months ago, Professor Norwood has toured Australia, the Philippines and China, and had already re commenced a highly successful tour of New Zealand when he met with his unfortunate mishap at Woodville, from which he has now fully recovered. The New Zealand Times of September 9th says;—“lt may be said at once that Mr Norwood’s show, putting aside for the time the curious psychology which is demonstrated, is one of the most laughable, the most unreservedly funny that one could well demand. Right throughout, almost without a break, the audience is kept in a state of wildest mirth, and if, as has been stated, laughing is a good medicine, then, this particular entertainment may be regarded as a useful and highly recommendable public institution. , . . . There is plenty of variety in Mr Norwood’s show, and plenty of clean, honest fun. : ’ Seats may be reserved at the Town Clerk’s Office, where the plan will be opened on Wednesday morning. Prices of admission will be 3s, 2s and is.
