WEDDING.
HAYNES—ROBINSON. A quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated in All Saints’ Church this morning when Mr Wilbert Haynes was united to Miss Mabel, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs F. Robinson, of Thynne St. The bride wore a charming navy blue costume and cream picture hat and was attended by her sisters. Misses Elsie and Nellie, as bridesmaids, who were attired in pretty hailstone muslin dresses. Mr Herbert Woodroofe officiated as best man. •The bride was given away by her father. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. G. Y. Woodward and the Wedding March was played by the organist, Miss Jenks, as the couple left the church. The bridegroom’s presents to the bridesmaids were gold brooches set with rubies and emeralds.; The health of the bride and bridegroom was honoured at the residence of the bride’s parents, after which the happy couple caught the 9 a.m. train for Wanganui, where the honeymoon will be spent. Mr and Mrs Haynes will take up their residence in Foxton. The couple were the recipients of a number ol useful presents and cheques.
