HIS ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE “SPECIALS.” Replying in the House or Representatives yesterday to the question of Mr G. V. Pearce as to whether the Government would take the necessary steps to have the name of Mr E. Tregear taken off the list of Justices of the Peace of New Zealand, in view of the scurrilous language said to have been used by him against the leading farmers of this country who are now in Wellington to assist in keeping law and order, the Hon. A. L. Herdmau (Minister of Justice) stated : “The matter is receiving the consideration of the Government, and will be suitably dealt with.”
