Stiles’ Mid-summer Sale is now in full swing, and a great clearance of season stock is to be made. A few typical examples of the bargains offered in the fashion departments of the White House will be found advertised on page 3 to-day. Mr G. T. Woodroofe, the cash butcher, declares war in the meat trade. On and after to-day he will carry on a cash over the counter system ami no delivery. This will enable him to sell all classes of meat and small goods at greatly reduced prices. Price lists are on view at the shop, and will repay perusal.
