ENTERTAINMENTS.

STATE SCHOOL CONCERT TO-MORROW NIGHT.

The complete programme for to-morrow night’s State School Concert appears elsewhere in this issue. The concert, as in the past, should attract a bumper house. The proceeds are iu aid of the Committee’s funds.

MUNICIPAL PICTURES. The programme for Saturday night promises to be another of more than the average order. The star film of 3,000 feet, “A Night Out,” is stated to be an absolutely unique comedy, and a great, grand and glorious reproduction in unrivalled picture form by Pathe Freres, depicting the king of comedies and merry monarch of laughter laud, and can be briefly described as being bright, breezy, busy and brisk. The dramas are, “The Dean’s Daughter,” iu which an elder sister takes upon herself the avenging of a supposed wrong upon the younger sister, who foolishly thought herself in love with a famous artist; “The Mouse and tha Eton,” is a Vitagraph of vitality and vigour, and though having an inverted title tells a plain straightforward story of much merit ; “The Fire Fighting Zouaves,” is a realistic and stirringly exciting military drama, boasting many startling battle spectacles and a thrilling fire scene and sensational rescue. “The Warwick Chronicle,” as usual, is full of interesting recent events. The educational firm, “Manila Rope Making,” will be found a most interesting description and should be much appreciated by the local community. The novelty film, “The Piccanniny’s Feast,” describes a man famous for his remarkable appetite, and the grimaces which he indulges in between the different courses are most mirth provoking. The comics are two iu number, but will be found to produce the usual amount of merriment accorded on such occasion. “Fatty’s Busy Day,” can be briefly described as being one long yellful; while “The Rise and Fall of McDoo,” is slated to be one prolonged screamtul. The whole programme is another of those of the high order which has pleased so much the audiences that patronise the municipal pictures,
