HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows ; The hemp market is rather more active and prices are firm. There is a better demand for spot Manila at £3O 10s. October-De-cember The output for the week, was 13,000 bales. New Zealand: good fair, £29 ; fair, £25 15s ; October-December, ,£29 5s to los ; fair, ,£26. The stock otN.Z. on 30th Sept, was 1,937 tons.
