HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows : The hemp market continues dull. Manila is quoted at .£3O for all positions. Reports from Manila indicate that prices there are about £1 higher than this end. The output for the week was 17,000 bales. New Zealand hemp has been in better demand this week, but transactions were light owing to the absence ot offers from the Dominion. Secondhand holders met the market by selling fair at ,£25 15s. Good fair £29 10s to 15s nominal, any position. The sisal market is steady at six cents equal to 28 seventeen c.i.f. Europe.
