BOWLING.

The local bowliug green will be officially opened at 2.30 o’clock to morrow afternoon by the president (Mr H. Witchell). The green is in first-class order, comparing favourably with any other green in the district, and from the enthusiasm being shown by members of the: club this season should be a most successful one. Invitations to be present have been extended to members of all clubs in the surrounding district and there will no doubt be a large number of visiting bowlers present. The ladies will also open their croquet lawn and will provide afternoon tea.
