MUNICIPAL PICTURES.
clause; to be inserted EMPOWERING MUNICIPALITIES TO CONDUCT PICTURE SHOWS. We received this morning a telegram from Mr Stiles, Mayor of Boston, who proceeded to Wellington yesterday to interview the Minister in reference to inserting a clause in the Bill amending municipal legislation, to empower corporations to provide and conduct municipal pictures. The message reads “Interviewed the Member lor the district and Minister, and have been successful in getting the Statutes Revision Committee to insert the necessary clause.”
