A GIRL’S ACCIDENT.
THROWN FROM A HORSE.
Invercargill, Sept. 21
A girl named Lena Wilson, aged 13, daughter of Joseph Wilson, a farmer at Tewaewae, was thrown from her horse on Sunday morning and dragged fifteen chains on the rough road. She was discovered staggering about the road by a passing farmer and his wite, and was suffering from serious injuries to her head and face.
She was conveyed to the Riverton Hospital in a precarious condition.
