(Own Correspondent.) Mrs Tuck, who has been relieving at the local school during the absence 6f Miss Russell, leaves >. on Saturday for Fellding. Miss - Russell was hurriedly called to Wanganui on account of the sudden death of her father. Whitaunui and Poplar mills are working full time, also Mr Saunders’ mill. There are, however, quite a number of unemployed in this district this year.
