In the Horowhenua Rugby Union’s senior competition, Hni Mai defeated Devin-Wanderers at Manakau by 14 points to 4, and Tainui beat Shannon by xS to 4. The following are the results of the representative matches played on Saturday : Canterbury defeated Wairarapa by 8 points to 3. Auckland defeated Wellington by 11 points to 9. Wairarapa juniors beat Wellington juniors by 9 to 6. New South Wales beat Taranaki by 11 points to 9.
