TECHNICAL EDUCATION.
A public meeting is convened for Friday evening next in the local State school, for the purpose of considering the advisability of forming technical classes in Foxton. Mr Pirani, chairman of the Education Board, Mr Braik, Chief Inspector, and Messrs Banner and Matthews, technical instructors, will be in attendance and address the meeting. It is hoped that everyone interested in technical education and particularly parents of children attending the school will be present.
