HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows : The hemp market opened dull and during the week was depressed but at close demand was better. Good fair, £3l nominal; fair sellers, ,£27 ; buyers 15s ; August-October 5s more; Manila, £3l ; forward shipment, £3O 10s. Output 27,000 bales.
