ENTERTAINMENTS.

MUNICIPAL PICTURES,

The programme for to-morrow night’s entertainment promises to be of a very enticing order. The star drama, “Zaza,” is a powerful story, weird, wonderful and soulstirring, and is sure to be the hit of the week. It is the romance of a brilliant woman who maxes her way in the theatrical profession to the top of the ladder. Her success through a series of exciting incidents makes a story full of originality and interest, with movement admirably swift and exceedingly life-like. The other two dramas are, “What a Change of Clothes did,” and “The Ambassador’s Daughter.” The former is a clever Vitagraph drama, featuring the fa r. ; actor, Maurice Costello, and the latter is a well sustained and thrilling narrative. The comics are three in number: “None but the Brave Deserve the Fair,” a screaming circus comedy by the Vitagraph Company; “Will Willie Win,” a big laugh, “The Vanishing Lady,” a real humourisity. The scenic film, “The Fails of Dalairen,” may well be termed a gem of its class. The educational film, “China Manufacture,” is a film of more than passing interest, and should be seen by all who desire to know how pottery is made. The Pathe Gazette, as usual, is full of topical incidents and recent events. The whole programme is bright and sparkling, and bound to draw the usual large audience.
