WEDDING.
CUM MERFIELD— LANGLEY
A quiet but pretty wedding took place yesterday at Langley’s Private Hotel, Manawatu Heads, when Mary Voila, daughter of Mr E. Langley, was united in matrimony to Charles Edward, eldest son of Mr J. Cummerfield, of Foxton. The Bride who was given away by her uncle, wore a navy blue travelling costume with brown facings and light brown hat with feathers to match. Miss Evelyn Langley acted as bridesmaid and wore a tussore silk dress and tussore straw hat trimmed with floral ribbons. Mr S. AStrong accompanied the bridegroom as best man. The Rev. T. Coatsworth officiated at the ceremony. At the corc'ir : "'n of the marriage service the guests sat down to the wedding breakfast and partook of a bounteous repast. By special request no speeches were made but all joined in wishing the bride and bridegroom every prosperity for the future. The happy couple left by motor-car to catch the afternoon train for the North. Mr and Mrs Cummerfield are making their home in Foxton.
