FLAXMILLS ACCOMMODATION.

RESOLUTION BY LOCAL EMPLOYEES.

At last night’s meeting of the Fpxton flax mills employees the following resolution was carried unanimously “That this mass meeting of the flaxmill workers of Foxton unanimously endorses the sentiments expressed by our delegation who were appointed by our union to wait on the Premier in connection with the regulations governing the accommodation,' and, further, repudiate the charge made by the millers that they were not the demands of the men, but the agitators, and contend that this unwarranted charge is a deliberate transgression of our rights on the part of the employers in attempting to convey the impression to the Premier that they were voicing the sentiments of the employees in place of our deputed representatives.”
